What People Say
The venue is small enough that we could see the piano keyboard up close.
The setting is intimate and the acoustics are excellent!
We enjoyed visiting with the artist!
It’s a bargain.
I have been a concert-goer for many years
and these have been some of the best concerts
I've ever heard! They're even better because
I am close to the performers and not in some
big auditorium. This series is an absolute
jewel of the Port Clinton area and word needs
to spread. You can't beat the price either!
My grandson really enjoyed being able to chat with the performers. It inspired him to go home and practice!
I am consistently amazed at the quality of the performances. Who would think a small community like Port Clinton would have access to nationally and internationally renowned musicians!
Wonderful, wonderful, concert today. What a great way to spend a cold, sunny December afternoon! Many thanks to the Tower Brass Quintet for their outstanding performance.
What a wonderful concert last night!
They broke my heart in the second movement, healed it in the third, and took me to the stars in the fourth and it was as if one of them inhaled and another exhaled the same breath! Thank you, Merling Trio!
"The Musical Arts Series provides wonderful opportunities to hear wonderful musicians play wonderful music across genres. It is a learning experience for all- those who are very knowledgeable about music and those who are not. The Series provides many deep emotional experiences. It is a community jewel."

What Our Artists Say
"It was in every way a pleasure to be a part of your wonderful series again, and to sing those beautiful pieces for such an attentive audience. Thank you for the invitation."
Mark Kosower, principal cellist of the Cleveland Orchestra and Jee-Won Oh, pianist, recently performed for the Musical Arts Series - Port Clinton. They commented after the performance, "Your audience was very receptive and engaged which makes a concert so much more enjoyable for the performers. We would be happy to play in Port Clinton again."
After their concert, the Australian guitar duo commented on how respectful and attentive the audience was. They said they could actually feel the audience "leaning into" the more contemporary music, to better understand it. Whereupon one commented "we don't even get that in New York".
We love the intimate venue, great acoustics, and close contact with the audience.
Thank you so much for organizing this concert and inviting our group. It was a great concert and a wonderful experience for all of us. We were very happy to play in Port Clinton. The acoustics of the sanctuary were above expectations and it was fantastic playing in the church venue. The food at the reception after the concert was awesome!!!
